India's first Hybrid Car, Honda Civic is launched! The car offers an exclusive driving pleasure with a rare combination of being environmentally friendly, fuel efficient and also having a high fun-to-drive quotient.

The Hybrid car costs around Rs.2,171,000 (varying as per the city and other charges). The Civic Hybrid will be imported from Japan as a completely built unit and will be available in two colours - exclusive Premium White Pearl and Alabaster Silver. The car is built on the latest technology and provides safety measures like active head-rest and four SRS Airbags (driver, assistant and side air bags), besides other safety features. It has sleek, aerodynamic exteriors and new-age luxurious interiors as well. The highly efficient system provides nearly 47% enhanced fuel efficiency than a regular 1.8L Civic AT without compromising on driving performance. The car uses regular unleaded fuel. The fuel efficiency varies on driving conditions, road conditions, weather, accessory use and terrain. Fuel economy can get affected by a number of different factors including tyre pressure, excessive weight etc.

Moreover, the Hybrid car's battery is automatically charged when the car is slowing, travelling downhill or braking. The vehicle is able to re-capture energy which is normally lost through friction when braking and use this energy to re-charge the battery. When the battery is not in use it’s being recharged by the electric motor.

Exclusive Honda Care Programme would be giving additional warranty of 2 years and 40,000 km in addition to its standard warranty. Moreover, the ‘Unique Hybrid Care Programme’ would takes care of maintenance of the car up to 4 years and 80,000 km. Which means, for service, if you go for the car, you have to just sit back and relax.
