Friday January 25, 2007You know by now that the Car of the Year is Honda Civic (CNBC TV18 Auto Car Auto Awards 2007). Well, I did miss blogging here on this but sure, it has been great selling the car as of lately, there has been quite a number of Honda Civic deliveries made from
Ennovative Finanz. Drive the car and the picture is complete - A car with best value, best driver car and best designed too, according to Ennovative. Though, here's to say that the Hyundai Verna has been chosen as the Value for Money car of the year at the Awards. In 2006, twelve all new cars were launched in the market with big budget PR and advertising campaigns, each boasting about the superiority of their brand.
Well, you can always look forward for more Cars to feature here but for now, my focus lies on Nissan Teana, an expected Rs.20 Lac Car with 173bhp, rolling into Indian market sometime during mid 2007. A focus determines everything - above all, an Attitude to wear. The Car has been designed for reliability, safety, performance, economy ride, handling and comfort. As for me, more luxurious car. It only remains to be seen how well it goes with 'Value for Money' coz an imported car do not come cheap and sure, it isn't going to be a cup of tea for any Tom, Dick or Harry! Let's wait n watch!

Monday December 18, 2006As Maruti is yet to launch five new models over coming years, the news around is that Swift Diesel model is expected soon. So, all those new car buyers can wait for this pick if you are in the waiting list of three weeks for the new Maruti Zen Estilo.
Well, talking of Maruti Zen Estilo, it launched on 5th December. Maruti's MD says, "Young people in India today desire products with contemporary styling and international appeal. The new Zen will appeal to this new India, just as the original Zen appealed to the India of the mid 1990s." As for me, I am content with the Swift yet, can say, Zen Estilo is roomier than the original Zen, comes with a bigger engine (1061 cc). It is taller, offers more boot space and superior air conditioning. It delivers 64 bhp and its low end torque of 84 nm (at 3500 rpm) makes it ideal for Indian city conditions.
What is more attractive, are the colours : Purple Fusion, Champagne Beige, Virgin Blue and Olive Green for Zen - all to go with the car's stylish image.
Well, now that the Auto firms join race for Rs. 1 Lac Car, I am not sure whether this Rs.3.19 Lac new Maruti Zen Estilo is a great buy and of coz, Tata's dreams are ever fulfilling, the Sonalika Group, Delhi and Global Automobiles, Kolkata, have already announced their decision to take on the Tatas. The Tata's have projected that they will have the capacity to make 1 million small cars by 2012. Why, I heard the Hyundai Motors is also looking at a car in the sub compact segment. All due to the huge volume market and enough players can roll out but with concern due to the bumpy curvy roads, almost crowded by humans, (also the stray animals!).

Sunday November 26, 2006Yeah, no excuses for not blogging in for a while on home website. By the way, as Blogging goes Corporate, I wonder whether Corporate Blogging do generate revenue or rathar, sell its products. There need to be strong traffic to your blog, numerous links to it from other blogs and frequent reader feedback are a few signs your blog is generating buzz that can attract buyers. There are media companies and corporates who fill up the gaps with ghost bloggers or rathar call in for hired bloggers who charge over a $4 per post. But awareness do totally lack in many Corporates in India who stand with stand-alone websites, not frequently updated nor even seen visited or got lost in the search back pages. If a company blog generates $10 a day, even this is fine but unfortunately, we all know our time restraints and hence, hired bloggers fill in the gaps and are a boon to many Corporates.
I started writing Blogs in my
journalism area and end up writing my own company blog here - all with slow pace but steady and some day, hope to make it big with the revenue generation (
Generate revenue from your website. Google AdSense.) or possibly, build in the steady clients who flow in their mails & build mutual business relations for our products - the
